A cat weight chart compares your cat's current weight with common healthy reference ranges for age, frame size, and body condition. Use this generator to create a printable chart for kittens, adults, and senior cats.
Weight ranges are planning references, not a diagnosis. Sudden weight change, appetite changes, vomiting, diarrhea, or extreme body condition should be reviewed by a veterinarian.

Many adult domestic cats are healthy between 8 and 12 lb, but frame size, breed, sex, age, and body condition matter more than one number. You should be able to feel the ribs easily and see a slight waist.
A common kitten weight rule is about 1 lb per month of age until roughly 6 months, then growth slows as the kitten approaches adult size. Large breeds and small-frame cats can sit outside that simple rule.
Your cat may be overweight if the ribs are hard to feel, the waist is missing when viewed from above, and the belly pad hangs low. Use body condition together with weight, not weight alone.
Call a veterinarian if your cat loses or gains weight suddenly, stops eating, has vomiting or diarrhea, or falls far outside the expected range for their age and frame.
